    Built to turn heads at the range, the Retro Rifle Taco Loco Prototype Plate Carrier combines loud 80s-inspired chaos with rugged tactical functionality. Featuring our custom all-over Taco Loco print, purple hardware accents, modular pouch setup, and durable 600D encrypted material construction, this carrier was made for the ones who refuse to run boring gear.Designed with adjustable shoulder straps, quick-release hardware, front utility pouches, MOLLE webbing, and a lightweight but durable structure, this prototype is built for both display and use.This is a LIMITED PRE-ORDER for our prototype run. Final production details may change before mass production, including stitching, materials, colors, hardware, pouch configuration, and fitment.

    We stand by our products. All of our products are created by us, and yes, we are a real company. We're not one of those print on demand companies where you won't receive your product for a month. We have an actual retail location, and warehouse in Arizona. 

    If you're not happy with your product, send it back, on us. All you have to do is fill out the form at the bottom of this page (returns/exchanges link) and we will send you a prepaid label. Please note, the return must be taken place within 30 days of order date, and the shirt cannot be washed. If the shirt was washed, we will give you store credit. 

    Our shirts ship out from our warehouse/retail store located in Phoenix, Arizona within 1-3 working days. Please note, shipping times may be longer for those living on the east cost. West coast customers usually receive their packages within 2-4 days.

      Awesome

      The material is really nice. So far I’ve got many compliments comparing how “meme-y” it is and how high quality it is. These are people who know plate carriers and other ‘tactical’ equipment, so I trust their opinion more than my own. For a first time effort, this is quality. If RR uses this same carrier in the future I’d highly recommend it as a silly thing to own. I attached photos of some of the features I really like. The handle on the back that Velcros down is a nice touch.

      Best plate carrier i have ever owned!

      Absolutely love the design and quality on this, really fantastic, came out way better then I thought they would, 10/10!!! Best April fools joke turned reality i have ever got my hands on! :)

      Can't wait for the apocalypse when everyone wull be jealous of my legendary tier gear!

      Taco Loco = Absolute blast

      Ordered the taco loco plate carrier and I am pleasantly surprised! Not the same durability and quality as the plate carrier I had in the military, but excellent for range trips and rad photo shoots. This is a great design and appears to be more durable than typical 5.11 and similar carriers.

      I wish it was a little more adjustable or had a xl size option. I will gladly order this, or other plate carriers that retro rifles come out.

      stitching is decent quality, can't find any flaws with it.

      not sure how well the clasps at the sholders will hold(plastic) but the rest seems funky and well made.

      can't wait to see the next patterns.

      Hopefully they re-release the rifle slings too.

    FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

    Are your drops limited?

    Yes. Every release is produced in limited quantities, and once it sells out, it’s gone for good. The only exceptions are select legacy styles, which are clearly marked and kept in stock for new customers.

    Will you restock sold-out items?

    No. Limited edition items are not restocked once they sell out. Occasionally, small quantities may appear in the Vault from backstock, canceled orders, or unused PR inventory.

    How does sizing work?

    All of our products are true to size. Order the wrong size, or it doesnt fit? Exchange it on us with a prepaid shipping label.

    How long does shipping take?

    Shipping takes 5-7 business days within the USA.
